Organizational, management and control model pursuant to Law-Decree 231/2001 PDF Print E-mail

Sardinia Green Island carries on its business according to an Organizational, management and control model (hereinafter the "Model") provided by Law-Decree of June 8th 2001, N. 231 which introduced a system of administrative liability, but actually criminal, for specific offences of which companies may be charged.

The Model was approved by the Board of Directors on march 24th 2011 and it’s compliant with the guidelines drawn up by industry associations. The Model is made up of the following essential parts:

  • General Section
  • Special Sections attaining to different kinds of criminal offences and administrative offences that must be prevented
  • Ethic Code
  • Supervisory Body

The adoption of the Model and the simultaneous adoption of a Code of Ethics - formalized in internal regulatory documents, whose general part can be downloaded from the specific section in the website – that governs the relationships that Sardinia Green Island has with the various stakeholders (shareholders, directors, employees, customers, suppliers, etc. .) , it’s a clear way to express the Company’s sensitivity to the need of ensuring conditions of fairness and transparency in business and corporate activities in order to protect its position and role.

 


Supervisor Body

According to article 6th D.Lgs 231/01, Sardinia Green Island set up a Supervisory member - approved by the Board of Directors on march 24th 2011 –in charge of managing the violation of the Organizational, management and control model, in order to prevent the commission of the offenses provided by the D.Lgs 231/01.

The Supervisory member, carries out out the tasks laid down in articles 6 and 7 of D.Lgs 231/01 and in particular:

  • monitoring the operation of and compliance with the Model, controlling and checking the effectiveness in preventing illegal conduct;
  • overseeing the application of the Code of Ethics;
  • implementing the Model;
  • reporting any violations of the Model to the Management;
  • managing the information flow;

Any breaches or suspected non-compliance with the rules and provisions of the 231/01 Model and/or any other pertinent information concerning the implementation of the model should be highlighted by:
